I'm pretty sure I played the turn badly. Villain's been pretty loose from what I can tell, but I haven't been at the table long.

      Stacks:
      Hero (UTG) ($9.86)
      UTG+1 ($6.18)
      MP1 ($10.71)
      MP2 ($23.98)
      CO ($3.41)
      BTN ($5.69)
      SB ($1.90)
      BB ($5.00)

      Pre-flop: ($0.15, 8 players) Hero is UTG A:spade: K:heart:
      Hero raises to $0.40, 2 folds, MP2 calls $0.40, 4 folds

      Flop: 5:club: J:spade: Q:spade: ($0.95, 2 players)
      Hero bets $0.70, MP2 calls $0.70

      Turn: J:heart: ($2.35, 2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets $0.80, Hero calls $0.80

      River: T:club: ($3.95, 2 players)
      Hero bets $2.50, MP2 raises to $8.90, Hero = ????

Should I have folded to the turn bet?

As played, how should I play the river? With the overbet, I figure he's either got a boat or Jx.

I would fold turn, even to a bet this small. drawing to gutshot SD is usually a bad play and overcards might not help you here as he could have Jx there. Also if you hit your straight, you have no idea if it is any good and you may already drawing dead.
On river I would fold this one (I think?) but it is quite close. He could shove there with any Jx but also any 55 QQ TT (even JJ) QJ TJ are all in his preflop calling range.

      +1

      I'd also c/f turn.
I'd c/c the river. This will induce a bet from the lower part of his range(Jx/2pair hands)
As played you have to call given the odds. (also he still might go nuts with his bottom range)
