      I think if I contibet the flop, I have to continue the story and contibet to 'protect' or 'get value' on the turn. If they have a big draw and it comes in, I might get away from the river or otherwise see it for free.

      Calling the river with just TP (ok 2 pair) on a dangerous board is --EV for me.
