      youre pretty much screwed

suck it up and build it again... ftp cannot compensate you and the other guy of course will not either. it was a fair match.

man it sucks big time, but get over it there is nothing you can do

and im sure you have made bigger mistakes. ;)

Calling -$1K less "biggest mistake of your life" is mistake.
Poker is just a game. Deposit some money or suck it up and rebuild.
      Good luck in advance.

      Lesson learned, hopefully.

I always use the filter for the SnGs.

Man that blows, but I really can't see Full Tilt doing anything about it, if I were you though I would still get in touch with them to see if they let you off with it (highly unlikely).

I once joined a PL Omaha Sit N Go (which I've never played before) but managed to unregister just before it started when I had realised, now I use the filters to make sure I don't join the wrong games.

not to flame, but let's be honest. What do you expect FTP to do about it?
I mean if they'd give back your bankroll then everybody could just play for their entire BR untill they doubled and every time they lost they'd get their money back... It wouldn't be fair in any univers whatsoever. Alteast not one I'd like to be part of!

That sucks really badly :s_o: .. You have my sympathies ..

Actually I have an idea, that could give you some of your BR back .. I am ready to post like 2$ to you .. You may think that I am really ironic and joking, but if you can find like 500 PokerStrategists who are willing to help you with 2$ (or more) you can get some of your BR back ..

I hope I was at least a little helpful :f_grin:

that sucks, there's a story on 2+2 like this but the guy joined a $345 4 man shootout and shipped it. I always use filters, not only so i don't accidently do that but also so i'm not tempted to play higher stakes when i'm tilted about something.

      Hi AugustusCaesar,

Whilst the kind thought & humour isn't lost on me, I would just remind all members of the board rules, in particular Rule No.5, which is there to protect everyone.

Rule No. 5: No threads about private money transfers or sales (PT/PA, Books)!
It is not allowed to search for private money transfers, or to sell items (e.g. PokerTracker, PokerACE liscences or books) on the forum. Please use Neteller or Moneybookers for your transfer needs. It is also not allowed to ask for money or loans on the forum. We do not want our users to be put in situations where they can suffer potential monetary loses.

      Appreciate your co-operation.

      Many thanks,

      Bart

      Hi everyone,

Just wanted to point out to everyone before this thread gets out of control, that whilst this is very frustrating for the OP and we all sympathise with him, this is not the fault of either PokerStrategy or Trader, who (like any other player) would have joined and played this game in good faith.

PokerStrategy support would not be able to assist on this occasion.

I would respectfully ask members to keep discussions to the topic in hand and refrain from discussing or suggesting ways of obtaining money.
Failure to do so will result in the closure of this thread.

      Thank you for your co-operation,

      Bart

Really bad luck dude. Really bad luck. :f_frown:

Reality is it is back to the grindstone for you... and best of luck with that grind.

      Oh, and use filters FTW.

Very unfortunate situation. I am just curious, if the OP had won, would he be giving trader his buy-in back because he only went into this game accidentally? Of course he wouldn't.

      playing a 1k sng -> a small mistake
playing against trader HU -> the biggest mistake anyone can make

don't worry, if you built 1k , building the second k will be a walk in the park.
