MP3: Small sample. Could be TAGish.

This was just weird. Would MP3 ever play a overpair or draw this way after all the strength I showed?

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.1/$0.25 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

      Known players:
      MP2:
      $23.90
      MP3:
      $25.00
      CO:
      $4.65
      BU:
      $25.00
      SB:
      $5.00
      BB:
      $24.35
      UTG1:
      $26.05
      UTG2(Hero):
      $54.10
      MP1:
      $25.00

      Preflop: Hero is UTG2 with J, J.
      UTG1 folds, Hero raises to $1.00, MP1 calls $1.00, MP2 calls $1.00, MP3 calls $1.00, 4 folds.

      Flop: ($4.35) 3, 6, 2 (4 players)
Hero bets $3.50, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 raises to $24.00(All-In), Hero folds, MP3 gets uncalled bet back.

      Final Pot: $7.85.

      Hi,

An overpair probably not, it's just spew especially since he shouldn't have JJ+ there and nobody wants to shove something like 88 there imo. However he also has no reason to just shove a set or 54 there, that will scare away way too many hands and doesn't even allow for a 3bet-shove with draws/overpair on your part.

A draw is a lot more likely if he knows what he's doing, maximizing fold equity with something like AdTd/KdQd. I wouldn't be thrilled about it but i'd probably call it off. If he isn't a tag then he can do that with just about anything so finding a fold remains tough but is probably easier.

      Hope it helps.
