      Hi,

      Hmm, I also find these though situations. Of course villain could have flat called preflop with Ax here. But they also raise you quite often with low PP's and FD's. Since his stack size is around 40BB I don't give him that much credit.

      Since you are already quite pot commited, I don't think you can really fold here.

      I'm curious what other people have to say about this hand :)

      This is some of the best possible flops for you nines. I go broke here without much problems against unknown.

      If we have stats or reads it could be different.

      Hey elhh82,

      when there's an overpair on the board to your PP it's much less likely opponent has hit the board, so your PP doesn't have to be considered trash, specially HU I would still play it as made hand. here only Axs and TT+ beats you and Axs are much less likely because there are 2 As on the boards already. So, nice hand, there are still many worse hands that will pay you off such as 88-/FD.
