Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.02/$0.05 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)
      Known players:
      MP2:
      $6.18
      MP3:
      $1.10
      CO:
      $5.04
      BU:
      $9.56
      SB:
      $4.97
      BB(Hero):
      $5.90
      MP1:
      $4.58

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q, Q.
MP1 folds, MP2 calls $0.05, 2 folds, BU raises to $0.15, SB folds, Hero raises to $0.35, MP2 calls $0.35, BU calls $0.25.

      Flop: ($1.22) K, 9, J (5 players)
Hero checks, MP2 checks, BU bets $0.35, Hero raises to $0.70, MP2 calls $0.70, BU calls $0.35.

      Turn: ($3.32) 3 (5 players)
Hero checks, MP2 checks, BU bets $1.25, Hero folds, MP2 calls $1.25.

      River: ($5.82) 9 (4 players)
      MP2 checks, BU bets $3.00, MP2 calls $3.00.

      Final Pot: $11.82.

      Results follow:

MP2 shows two pairs, jacks and nines(As Jd).

BU shows a flush, king high(Ts Js).

BU wins with a flush, king high(Ts Js).

His bet on flop seems to me that he wanted to put more money in the pot for his draw. Maybe I should raise 3x his bet. Then turn against two opponents I decided to leave the hand. :f_mad:

      Hi,

Raise bigger preflop, to something like $0.55 to account for both you being out of position and the dead money in the pot.

Postflop just c-bet that board, you'll put yourself in bad spots if you start getting fancy without a strong reason. If nobody has Kx you're still good and you'll get calls from all sorts of draws and worse pairs on that board. You also have a gutshot for some extra equity.

      Hope it helps.

      Hi tamairlarace,

      I'm sorry but I didn't get your point :f_confused:
Should I had raised 3x his initial bet on flop?
About "Postflop just c-bet that board" you mean that I should had bet on turn?

BTW, thank you for all your reviews! :)

      Best regards

      PH

You should have raised x3.5. the 0.5 extra is for being OOP. You can also add 1BB for the limp of MP2 and make it 0.6$

About the flop tamairlarace meant that you should have bet instead of check/raise.
Anther thing if you are check/raising you should make it a bigger (at least 1.2$).
By betting small you are giving good odds for drawing hands to call.

      Good Luck.
