      0.02/0.05 No-Limit Hold'em (7 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Elephant 0.69 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

      Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 9:club: , 9:spade:
MP1 folds, Hero raises to $0.20, 3 folds, SB calls $0.18, BB folds.

      Flop: ($0.45) 8:diamond: , 9:diamond: , 5:spade: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.42, SB raises to $0.84, Hero raises to $2.40, SB folds, Hero gets uncalled bet back.

      Final Pot: $2.13

Preflop is quite loose but whatever.
On the flop I bet pot to protect my hand on drawheavy board and extract max value from worst hands. After his check/raise I raise again and I'm commiting myself to the pot. Is call on the flop/ shove turn possible line for me in this spot or do I want to give my hand max protection and raise? Is my raise size OK?

      Hi,

Preflop is totally standard to me, and postflop i would have played it the same way on such a drawy flop provided you're both 100bb deep, which is why it's important to provide the stack sizes.

      Hope it helps.
