      You played that right - even if he has the king you have alot of equity in that pot. He checked and you made your cbet with a strong draw, then you get such great odds you have to call :)

      You have something like 3.5 : 1 Pot odds there with a strong draw. If he has a set of kings its still the right play Im pretty sure :p

      I'd only raise to $1.5 preflop, but otherwise NH! When you are preflop aggressor and you hit such a strong draw you can easily go broke.

      I think AJ is not strong enough again those minraises, I usually just fold AJ in those spot, minraising from UTG+1 cmon eighter AA;KK,QQ or crap. My advice is a fold here.

      Unless I have reads on my opponent I'll disregard his min-raise in the lower limits. He'll have a weak hand a lot more often than a monster.

      Hey taifoon,

      when you disrespect a minraise treat it as 2 limpers, so raise 6BB preflop. And then you could directly shove flop for max fold equity with your draw.
