MP3's fairly TAGish, while CO is a tight short-stacker.

      $0.05/$0.1 No Limit Holdem
      9 Players
      Hand Conversion Powered by

      UTG ($6.43)
      UTG+1 ($2)
      MP1 ($10.95)
      Hero ($15.29)
      MP3 ($11.10)
      CO ($2.24)
      BTN ($5.26)
      SB ($1.95)
      BB ($10.95)

      Pre-Flop: ($0.15, 9 players) Hero is MP2 J:spade: 10:spade:
UTG calls $0.10, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.50, MP3 calls $0.50, CO calls $0.50, 3 folds, UTG folds

      Flop: J:club: 7:spade: 9:spade: ($1.75, 3 players)
      Hero bets $1.40...

Given the fact that I have 12 clean outs, including one to the absolute nuts, plus top pair, would taking an aggressive line like this be a good idea?

      I think it's fine play.

You've got a straight draw, flush draw, top pair, straight flush draw of course, and a shit tonne of equity (around 40% just against sets, and 70% against pairs+straight draws and two pair combinations).
I think sticking the money in is the best way to go, and that flop bet sizing is definitely perfectly fine for sticking the money in as quick as possible.

CO is obviously a non-factor, it doesn't really matter what we bet against him since he's a fit-or-fold guy and he's already forced to get all-in if he wants to stick around.

MP3's range will likely be composed of pocket pairs and speculative hands that connect quite well with that flop, most of which he'll be playing either for a raise (any decent draw, sets..) or sometimes pot control (marginal weak pair, top pairs he doesn't want to raise/call with. So i think with such a huge hand your best line is to just bet/shove that flop, which likely was your plan. NH.

      Hope it helps.
