      I think nice play, because i doubt, he has the TJ or smth. At worst you could have ran in pocket J. with the flushdraw, backdoor-gutshot+your overcards i think your push is just right. Correct me if im wrong.

      If I was SB , i would either push or fold.
      I don't want to play vs tight (me) player out of position.
      OR... maybe he had pocket and called for set value... (but that doesn't explain his bet on the flop)
