      Hi,

if UTG2 is nit, call preflop is fine.
if not 3-bet to 2.25-2.5$ ip

Flop: I don't get your overcall. Just raise it to 3.75-4.25$ because AK will call anyway. You want to get money into the pot when you are in front.
Turn: Now we have a shitty situation: You put money into the pot when you are most probably way behind. Just call MP1 raise for pot control. If UTG2 then raises and MP1 5-bets you can fold I guess.

      Best regards,
      Anin

Yep, misplayed this one. Thanks for the advice.

I declined to 3-bet because I wanted to let the hand play out with position, and I didn't want to scare the fish. However, a 3-bet would have been much better, even if I only took the pot down preflop.

On the flop, I should be getting the money in, no doubt.

Turn didn't scare me, as I coulnd't put either player on a hand that included a 3, except for A3s (outside chance) and 33 for quads... which is such a rare hand that I have to pay it off.

If you discount the possibility of 3x, which doesn't really fit the betting except for A3 of clubs (the only suited combo possible of A3), then there are only four hands that are beating my top two right now: one AA, one QQ, one 33, and one A3.

In fact, UTG2 held AJ, and MP1 held 33 for the nuts.

I'm still not sure how I feel about my overcall on the turn though. the 5 bet should tell me that I'm up against a real hand, or maybe AK. The pot odds were 4-1 by that point... and yet it's kinda borderline.

In this same session, I held AQ again several times, and hit top two two other times. Great session, one blemish: this hand!

      Thanks for your comments, Anin.

also like squeeze pf and raising to 2,5$ on the flop, since pot is too small to get money all-in on the turn and river
Against two middlestacks it is easy all-in with top two pair on the turn
