      There is really nothing credible you can represent by donking the river except a boat, which means good opponents will fold or raise you accordingly and you won't profit much from it.

      If that player is weaker, as in he can't let go of a pocket pair there or will think you're bluffing, then donking out is okay but you'd better be ready to deal with a raise since it'll mostly be Ax and some rebluffs, so you'll be guessing. I don't think it's bad to just check/call it again and give him another chance to bluff represent Ax, he really really rarely has anything to call a bet with.
