      These two hands here cost me over 2 hours to grind back. Is there anyway to protect myself from these players?

      #1 I still dont understand why he didnt fold on the flop!

      Maybe raise the flop bigger. After that since the turn card is sorta horrible it's mostly a question on how much of his range are actually draws when he limp/calls preflop and call/call the flop.

      If you think he'd raise or bet Jx and Tx somewhere then he's drawing and you can shove the turn against KQ/98/clubs. If you don't really know since he's very passive then it becomes thinner but you can still do it, checking back isn't that bad tho as long as you don't call a big bet on such a crappy river card.

      Buy a lucky charm? You can't play it any different, so just curse your luck and move on:)

      Thanks for the quick response... only reason I bet $2 on the flop for #1 was because I put him on AT or AJ slowplaying his trips, I was going to go for a raise/fold. ahhh well i'll just call it variance :)
