      Stacks:
      UTG ($32.30)
      UTG+1 ($51)
      MP ($47.75)
      CO ($43.70)
      BTN ($50)
      Hero ($9.50)
      BB ($55.75)

      Pre-Flop: ($0.75, 7 players) Hero is SB Q: A:
UTG calls $0.50, 2 folds, CO calls $0.50, 1 fold, Hero raises to $3, 1 fold, UTG calls $2.50, CO folds

      Flop: T: :6s: :4s: ($7, 2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $2.50, Hero folds

Bet this flop anyway? I think i probably could have represented the spade, and fold to a raise.

      Hey elhh82,

any particular reason not to c-bet this flop?

With potsize left I just push this flop, most likely all hands without a spade will fold and you might even get value out of A :spade: x hands.

      Regards,

i think i chose a wrong spot to try to check the flop and cbet the turn.

At the time i felt that i couldn't represent the cards on the flop, so i decided to check instead.

Also i didn't quite know what to do on the turn if i get called a miss.

Do i give up then? Say like a complete blank, 2h drops.

I'm not sure I understand your question, do you mean if you check flop and villain checks behind? ...because if you c-bet this flop you have to push and there's no more postflop play.

If you check this flop then c/f all the way unless you improve(hit A or Q) and there aren't 4 spades on the board.

If I got your question wrong, correct me please.

ah yes, i didn't notice that my stack it too short for a non oru-in bet now.

i asked the question in the assumption that i didn't have to go all-in on the flop.

I see, if villain doesn't give up on this flop, then you can safely give up your hand on blank cards.
