      How about this "monster draw"?

      Preflop: I'd let this go oop, or for a 4 bb raise(?)

      $43.00
      CO:
      $50.00
      BU(Hero):
      $52.70

      Preflop: Hero is BU with 9, 8.
      2 folds, CO raises to $1.50, Hero calls $1.50, SB calls $1.25, BB folds.

      Flop: ($5) 7, 9, 6 (3 players)
      SB checks, CO bets $4.00, Hero calls $4.00, SB folds.

      raising flop is only good if you think you have fold equity.
      Not really sure he´d b/f there overpair and he could easily take line bet/shove, which you have to call. So I think calling ip is also ok
      Call turn is likely fine, if he barrel enough time with worse hands and I guess river call is also ok, since I´d expect him to shove or bet bigger with flush

      but if he has, say.. QQ you raise the flop having more than 15 outs for oesd, trips and two pair.

      so why not raise?

      yes, you´re right. Against overpair we have enough outs and can gamble if we want. Just not really sure that every overpair would get there all-in and we´re against two pair or better which would also get all-in on that flop, we´re not doing that great.
      So although raising is fine, I think call is also one option.
