      There are worse hands that might call you when you bet the turn because it's really unlikely that you have Kx, but there are probably no worse hands that will bet the turn when checked to. Most of his range there being Kx, flushdraws and pocket pairs, he'll usually be very happy to try and check it down with you. So unless your opponent is bad enough to randomly bet any pair when checked to for no reason or you have reason to think he'll bet with flushdraws instead of taking the free card, i think bet/calling is still superior to check/calling.
