Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.05/$0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

      Known players:
      CO:
      $10.00
      BU:
      $10.30
      SB:
      $5.55
      BB:
      $11.14
      MP2:
      $12.45
      MP3(Hero):
      $10.61

      Preflop: Hero is MP3 with Q, A.
MP2 folds, Hero raises to $0.40, CO calls $0.40, 3 folds.

      Flop: ($0.95) 5, Q, 4 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.60, CO raises to $1.20, Hero raises to $3.80, CO raises to $9.23, Hero calls $6.41, CO calls $0.37.

I think .65-.70 is a better size for the cbet and that the 3bet should have been closer to 3.

      Hi,

I agree on the c-bet size. As played tho i don't think the 3bet should be smaller. If you're 3betting there you expect him to continue with draws, because otherwise he just has sets in his range for going further and you're basically committing suicide. If he has draws then you want him to either shove over, or call getting poor odds. Especially at microstakes, make them pay to draw.

With a 3bet of $3.8 he's getting around 2.3:1 with still some illusion of fold equity, while if you make it $3 he'll be getting 2.8:1, so he'll be able to call in position with a flushdraw with more confidence if he believes he can extract even as little as $2 more on a heart turn, you probably won't fold for $2 in a $10 pot just in case he's full of it.

      Hope it helps.
