      villain was kinda tricky... so decided to play smallball

      If villain is tricky and i have an overpair SBvsBB i'll make bets that are more likely to make him spew because i'm never going to fold it on such a board, i'll be glad if he tries to inflate the pot.

      That being said your line is fine as a default. The river is tricky because depending on how villain sees the game he might or might not be scared by it or try to represent it if checked to. If you think he'll call again with Jx i like your bet, if you think he'd irrationally fold Jx on that river but might bluff some busted stuff if you check i think checking to him is fine as well.
