[NL2-NL10] (2nl) 99 with 50bb effective stack size - Raise/4bet or fold?

      As he's so short I wanted to get my money in: But are nines strong enough. I don't know exactly which range villain minraises.

      Given his stack size, the his range could be huge and 9 9 is a good enough hand to try and stack him.

      There certainly are players out there against whom you can easily shove 99 for value for 50bb, people you've seen limp/min3reraise or just min3bet a lot they have any Ax any pocket pair any hand that looks pretty in their range for doing that. They're still flipping with you most of the time tho.

      However some players will always show you a bigger pocket pair when they do that, so if i haven't seen him do much before i'll usually take the cautious approach, calling and play postflop with these odds.
