Hand converted with online hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.05/$0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (5 handed)

      Known players:

Preflop: Hero is BB with J, Q.
2 folds, BU raises to $0.40, SB folds, Hero raises to $1.30, BU calls $0.90.

      Flop: ($2.65) T, 7, 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.40, BU calls $1.40.

      Turn: ($5.45) 4 (2 players)
Hero checks, BU bets $2.59, Hero raises to $7.30

I think he will hold T,X/8,8/9,9/7,X often.

Well you know villain better than i do, assuming he can bet/fold the turn with marginal hands it's a fine line.

But some players will check behind all these hands you're trying to fold out because they don't have wide enough value betting range and feel fine getting to showdown with anything that doesn't clearly beat you. Also since they shouldn't be really used to seeing that check/shove line they'll sometimes end up calling it off with these hands just because it looks weird to them. Against them you might be better off just bet/calling the turn because you'll end up getting the stacks in against the same big hands but you have a better shot at folding out these marginal pairs that they won't bet into you with.

      Hope it helps.
