      Hi all,

I have noticed some players like to raise 2BB preflop whatever their position.
Any idea what is their goal with such a raise and what kind of hands they might have.
To me it doesn't make sense but since I saw a good few of them doing it I thought some of you might know.

Weak, i treat there min raises like limps and will raise or fold.

From what i seen normally they'll be hands like A-Xs, low PP's etc nothing to strong PF.

Depends on the opponent, usually just shit cards but occasionally you will find AA or KK which you should note. Either way min raising is usually a poor way to play most hands. Opponents will usually have good odds to call with speculative hands, especially in the blinds and if you do have a hand you won't get any value for it.
