      No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (3 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

      saw flop

      BB ($74.70)
      Gerv (Button) ($52)
      SB ($45.55)

Preflop: Gerv is Button with 2, 2
Gerv bets $1.75, SB raises $2.75, BB calls $2.50, Gerv calls $1.25

      Flop: ($9) 2, A, 3 (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Gerv bets $6, SB raises $21, 1 fold, Gerv raises $43 (All-In), SB calls $21.55 (All-In)

Is calling his c/R an option to let him continue valuetowning himself with Ax? or is protection really necessary?

The only way I see him c/R with a FD is some kind of combo thing like A x

I would prefer shove, since he might c/f turn with Ak when it is another club and you might check back if turn is another club
Once he takes c/r line on the flop I think he isn´t folding, so I like shoving instead of flatting
