      I played like this with top pair after i saw him call an all in with A5 offsuit, :)
      I wonder if i could have got more money off him if i raised pot size instead of half the pot each time. Would he have folded? After the second time, he left, :(

      I will raise about 1/2 pot with a made hand on a dry board often, but that is to defend my contibets and to encourage calls from underpairs. Usually I'd bet closer to the pot on the flop, especially on wet boards, in order to extract more value (now and later). Against calling stations, bigger bets are more likely to be called earlier in the hand, since betting 1/2 pot or 4/5 pot is only the difference of a few bb, but that will swell the pot, will make your 1/2 pot-turn bet bigger, and help commit your fishy opponent to the pot on later streets.
