      Party Poker $50 No Limit Hold'em - 3 players - View hand 396749
The Official DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter

      BB: $50.00
      Hero (BTN): $66.70
      SB: $46.75

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is BTN with 8 :club: 8
Hero raises to $1.50, 1 fold, BB raises to $5, Hero calls $3.50

      Flop: ($10.25) 7  J :club: 5 :club: (2 players)
      BB checks, Hero checks

      Turn: ($10.25) 3  (2 players)
BB bets $7.30, Hero calls $7.30

      River: ($24.85) T :diamond: (2 players)
      BB checks, Hero checks

BB is a 16/13/5 regular with 2.2 AF over 260 hands. 63% cbet. Certainly able to adapt to 3-handed.

Call preflop with position is ok? I guess he's 3betting almost every pocket here.

Should I try to take it down on the flop? He certainly isn't strong here - I think I can get him out of most of his range with a bet and a 2nd barrel on lots of turns. The question is how often he's folding a better hand here - he surely has some showdown value if he doesn't cbet that flop. With TP he'd bet, with fd he'd bet, with air he'd bet. He might be holding 88-TT, maybe A7s or 66.

I tihnk check behind is fine, although also valuebet is ok.
If you think most of his hands he´d c-bet that flop, then you can easily valuebet yourself, since he has more often 7x or 5x than hand that beats you
calling turn and checking back river is fine
