I've read in some of the sample hands that when raising from the blinds, you should raise a bit more to compensate for being out of position. Is there a rule of thumb for this? I've been adding 1 extra big blind to the raise when raising from the blinds...is this about right? For example if I've got QQ in the SB and there are 2 limpers, a normal raise would be 6x BB (4x BB + 1x/limper,) but I've been betting 7x BB to compensate for position...is this correct?

Thanks,
