      No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed)

      saw flop

      Button ($60.50)
      SB ($26.30)
      Gerv (BB) ($56.25)
      UTG ($23.85)
      MP ($57.35)
      CO ($122.05)

Preflop: Gerv is BB with 5, 5
2 folds, CO bets $2, 2 folds, Gerv calls $1.50

      Flop: ($4.25) K, 6, 8 (2 players)
Gerv checks, CO bets $2.50, Gerv raises $7

I figured that I could 3bet/fold preflop against this guy, would that be better? OF is setmining + possibility to c/R bluff here a better alternative ?

For me a villain is tight enough on the CU to flat it pre instead of 3betting.
Postflop I can see myself bluffraising here sometimes and against that player I actually like it cause I think I might get him off of a strong K here with a raise, even AK. But that depends a lot on the dynamics of the table and I wouldn't try it very often and only against a specific player.

doubt he´d fold AK or better to your flop c/r and turn barrel
He might fold to river, shove but it is too expensive, especially since sometimes he has slowplayed set
c/r flop is fine. I think other option is lead out or c/f depends how good is opponent and if you think he´d give up this pot a lot
