      Hi,

I had nearly the same hand. Where opponent ch/c oop 2 streets and checked to me on river and I had a set and only two hands beat me.
But I had the feeling that he was on a draw and if I bet and he pushes I have to call because of his stacksize.
So I guess you can check behind making his 8x, maybe 98o call on turn even more -ev for him.

Let's see what the judges think.

      Best regards,
      Anin

      shove river
if he is calling 13$ bet he should also call 18$ all-in

I much prefere C/C the river here to get value from his bluffs .I agree with Kaitz in that , if you bet you must simply shove ..but I dont see him calling with worse too often soooo if you Check you can get him to bluff any draws + better hands into you & you have a +ev call as a bluffcatcher.

Hero is IP. There is no option of C/C. It's either cheching behind or betting for value.

I think there definitely are worse hands that fishy halfstack villain can call with: JQ+, any twopair.

All suggestions are welcome of course but I wish people would actually look at the hand and think for a minute or two before posting. I sure mean no disrespect.
