I play BSS at low stakes, and almost invariably the only situations where I go bust are when I hit top pair or hold an overpair when a caller with a low pocket pair has made their set. Does anyone have any specific tips for avoiding these scenarios?

I can dig up a specific sample hand if necessary, but I'm looking for more general advice.

      Hi,

Then make a post in the general strategy forum :)

It's really hard to come up with any "tips", poker is always situation-dependent and making folds to avoid getting stacked by better hands is just plain hand-reading. We'll be happy to discuss specific hand histories in this forum if you want to post some.

      Hope it helps.
