Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

not enough hands, but the guy looked fishy
limp flop seems weak, so I c-bet
turn comes nice second barrel card
too risky to play Iso Raise against unknown?
If I don't have enough hands, I usually look at the state where they are from and if its USA I consider him as fish :)

      MP2:
      $31.52
      MP3:

Preflop: Hero is BU with J, Q.
      3 folds, MP2 calls $0.25, 2 folds, Hero raises to $1.10, 2 folds, MP2 calls $0.85.

PF if you are going to play it, keep to the strategy of 4xbb +1 for limpers just so he doesn't get drawn in to call. Nice c-bet and turn play. Although it's a little risky PF JQs has alot of post-flop potential so you played the hand well imo.

      Hey oedipa,

isolating unknowns is usually a bad idea and also the country player is coming from isn't a strong enough reason to treat him as bad player. For example I play on FTP and there the very worst and very best players come from US, so you can easily step on a mine if you're not careful enough.

So, when isolating it's good to have reads or stats(limp, limp/fold, fold2c-bet, WTS are the basic ones for isolation).

As played, I would raise flop some more, 1.75-2$, but otherwise I like the hand. You have to push turn with 2 OCs and FD.

      Regards,
