      I'd just bet again myself on the turn. You'll get called enough by 9x again with or without a diamond redraw, and since he can't have much else than a flushdraw on the flop he also has made flushes a lot which he'll likely raise your bet with, so you can just 3bet-shove on him to get all the money in.

      I understand how slowplaying can look attractive, but since you're out of position it's better to keep on getting the money in yourself, you have no guaranteed this guy will bet when you check and him checking back is disastrous. As played yes raise the turn, either he has something strong that he's suckbetting or he's so weak that he's not gonna put more money in by himself.
