I think I played a bit too nitty here. The villain is loose passive preflop. I should've probably potted the turn then shoved a blank river given how drawy the board is.

I don't think the board is that too drawy.

A 10 beats you, and AQ beats you, that's about it, aside from the normal stuff like 77 or some random Tx hand.

I would definitely bet the river for value, I would probably also bet the turn a bit bigger.

      Hi,

Agreed. I definitely think betting is superior to check/calling unless you can skew his range toward busted draws for some reason, like you know he'd have minraised top pair because he didn't it before or something, and have reason to believe he's aggressive enough to bluff with them.

Fire $1.4 on the turn. I don't think shoving the river is bad especially if he's a calling station that can show with any Kx hand, but considering it looks insanely strong i can live with a 2/3 bet too.

      Hope it helps.

i like hero's line (except i'd bet turn little bigger). for me at the turn we're bet/folding and at the river we're in WA/WB spot.

      Hi,

Way ahead / way behind on the river is a weird expression, there are no more cards to come, either we're good or we aren't. And against a loose passive fish who just made two pairs, kings and tens J kicker or better with about every one of his Kx hands, there is value in a bet for sure.

      Hope it helps.

i don't say there's no value in bet on the river. i just prefer c/c

      imo if we bet
-all better hands raise (and we have tough spot)
-all busted draws fold (all Qx 9x Ax)
      -weak made hands call

      if we check
      -all better hands do bet
      -busted draws can bet
-weak made hands like mentioned Kx would also bet

      Hi,

Loose passive guy isn't betting Kx all that often, he's passive. He's not bluffing busted draws all that often either, he's passive. Which is why if we bet again and get raised we're dead, i don't think it's a tough spot.

      Hope it helps.
