Villian is nit 16/13/2.7 (VPIP/PFR/AF)after 2.2k hands. I hoped that he hit a set so I raised all-in. Is this a good idea just to cold call that min-raise even on that drawy board or shoud I alway raise??? Do you think that my line is ok??

I'm never just calling against a 16/13, it's hard to give him credit for anything other than sets and big flushdraws so i don't see a point in giving him free cards until he proves to me he can make pure bluff raises in position on these dry boards. By definition, nits always have it.

Still, i wouldn't just jam it in his face. If he has a set he's never folding it doesn't really matter how much we raise, so I'd 3-bet to like $4 in case he's suicidal and wants to shove his flushdraws over with zero fold equity, which i see people do a lot even up to nl50. If he calls we're shoving any turn, there will be too much money in the pot for us to give up with top set even if it's a diamond turn.

      Hope it helps.
