So, the rake system is changing to contributed rake. To compensate for that, they're increasing the amount of points they award to raked hands. Does anybody have an idea of how that will affect the amount of points we're earning in the NLSH games? Is it gonna get worse? How worse?

Even at titan the change by and large screws players, especially full ring of course, but they're not going to offer better because a contributed system is abusable. 10 players limping and folding the flop would already get over 100% rakeback with the new system, but the same table sees about a 1/3 reduction in rakeback if those 10 players play normally.

To be honest I can't see the games improving much because of this. Yes, it will affect the bottom line for the tightest players, but not enough to stop them playing. The only real effect will be that all players except heads up specialists (at ipoker? Seriously?) will have lighter pockets than they would've had under the old system.

Today I got 0.35 pts per hand at 20NL 6max which is 35% RB for a platinum.

That's slightly less than before but nothing significant. I'm willing to take a hit in rakeback if it punishes all the ultra-nit shortstackers.

All of the 9/6 rocks at FR are ruining the game and they are the reason I was forced to switch to 6max in the first place.

Now all they have to do is make every table 50BB min and maybe this never-ending nit party will finally come to an end.

I think this is big taking from players. Personaly I playing FL full ring and points are much slower than before. Thay must offering some kind of monthly rakeback for players, not only cash for points system.

The cash points system is virtually the same as rakeback, except they call it differently.

I played a few hands this after the points change and to be quite honest, I didn't feel much of a change in the amount of points I got. I'll wait until I hit 10k hands and then I'll see if there's a big difference or not.

when you have levels and every month get some cash for some points (like have Paddy power until month ago) it is some kind of rakeback or virtually same as rakeback as you say...but cash for points is another thing because you waiting as much as possible to get better price for your point...and I prefer some money every month rather then waiting several month for some good money...it is from aspect low limits player...also in old system I get point for about 6-7 hands from 10 (because in 3-4 hands no flop) and now I get points for 1 or 2 hands from 10 and in same time thay give 70% more points for raked hands...so if I have 6-7 hands from 10 where i get 0,5 points that is 3-3,5 points in 10 hands...now i have 1-2 raked hands with 0,85 points (room where I playing now) and it is in best case 1,7 point...it is big big diference...so in my opinion thay take too much from players...if thay dont improve something I will definetely looking for other network...
