      Hi,

What hands do you think villain gets to the river with, that he will bet when you check to him?

In my opinion he'll check behind Kx and he'll bet all flushes he didn't raise the turn with. It's hard for him to have a set or two pairs or a straight without raising those on earlier streets too. Unless he's really weird he won't bet 8x Jx himself either if he managed to get to the river with some of these. What bluffs could he possibly have? Some very rare float like AQ with a diamond maybe, but wouldn't he raise that preflop?

Overall his most likely hands are some kind of Kx or a small flush. We're toast against flushes whether we check/call or shove ourselves, so we need to make sure we get value from Kx in the process. That means betting ourselves is better. NH.

      Hope it helps.
