When I make a set, I don't think I get max value out of them nearly every time because of too careful betting or whatnot. so was wondering if someone could give me some good advices how to play and bet with made set against unknown villains.

      Couple examplehands:

      HAND1:
Known players: (for a description of vp$ip, pfr, ats, folded bb, af, wts, wsd or hands click here)
      BB:
      $6,32
      Hero:
      $35,44
      UTG+2:
      $2,72
      MP1:
      $17,92
      MP3:
      $26,14
      BU:
      $22,28
      SB:
      $21,84
      MP2:
      $9,61
      CO:
      $25

      0,10/0,25 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Texas Grabem 1.7 by www.pokerstrategy.cc.

      Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with 7:heart: , 7:spade: . CO posts a blind of $0,25.
Hero calls $0,25, 3 folds, MP3 calls $0,25, CO checks, 2 folds, BB checks.

      Flop: ($1,10) J:spade: , 7:club: , A:club: (4 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1, MP3 calls $1,00, 2 folds.

      Turn: ($3,10) J:club: (2 players)
      Hero bets $2, MP3 calls $2,00.

      River: ($7,10) 9:club: (2 players)
      Hero bets $6, MP3 raises to $22,89 (All-In), Hero calls $16,89.

      Final Pot: $52,88

due to opponents big stacks, I guess I get called at flop PSB even by flushdraws. Turn card gives me full-house and villain was drawing dead if he made a flush here. I don't think river card changes anything, only feeling stronger that I have the best hand, I got much assistance from villain raising all-in here, otherwise the pot would've remained pretty small. Generally should I overbet turn here hoping that he would either have a J or flush, or is the betting line good here?

      HAND2:

Known players: (for a description of vp$ip, pfr, ats, folded bb, af, wts, wsd or hands click here)
      MP3:

      BB:
      $23,98
      UTG:
      $29,33
      UTG+1:
      $22,23
      Hero:
      $33,02
      MP1:
      $25,37
      CO:
      $28,30
      MP2:
      $4,75

      0,10/0,25 No-Limit Hold'em (10 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Texas Grabem 1.7 by www.pokerstrategy.cc.

      Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with 7:diamond: , 7:spade:
      2 folds, Hero calls $0,25, MP1 calls $0,25, 2 folds, CO calls $0,25, 2 folds, BB checks.

      Flop: ($1,10) 5:club: , A:heart: , 8:spade: (4 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, MP1 bets $0,25, 2 folds, Hero calls $0,25.

      Turn: ($1,60) 7:club: (2 players)
      Hero bets $1, MP1 raises to $2,00, Hero raises to $6,00, MP1 calls $4,00.

      River: ($13,60) 9:heart: (2 players)
      Hero bets $7, MP1 calls $7,00.

      Final Pot: $27,60

I got lucky with the turn card, villain's own fault not to bet more with his strong hand on flop :) Should I reraise more to his turn minraise? Valuebet good at river here I guess, with 9  being the river card, but should I push or make a valuebet if the river card was, let's say 2 :spade: ?

btw. 77 seems to be a good pocket pair to limp-in with :D

      Hand 1.)
The only hand that beats you here is J7. Any other hand with a J (J8, J9, JT, QJ, KJ) has only 3 Outs against you. So I think that your play on the Turn was good, since he would raise you with a Flush (or call to raise you on the River) or maybe with a Jack or Two Pair, if he is a bad player.

      Hi degnic!

Hand 1) Nice hand. Don't overbet the turn here. I think you played it very well.

Hand 2) Fold on the flop. You didn't anything, two overcards are on the board and you are drawing to two outs.

      Good luck at the tables!
