Basically i just didn't think i had any other option but to 3bet him here. Maybe if i'd flatted and donked the river i could've got a little more out of him but i felt like with deep stackes and a set I should be trying to stack him. I was only slightly worried about the flush draw because i was sure he would've rasied that on the flop if he was going to raise it. Thoughts?

this cases hope that player has A7 or 77 and re-raise to get the money all-in.
they are sometimes bluffing, but who would say that they would bluff river. Just you loose so much if you b/c turn, river is diamond and it goes c/c
