Hi, well i am a new member and i play Tournaments. When i read the articles, it says i can play the early phase of the tournament(play real tight) when i have 24 BB or more. But how do i calculate if i have 24BB or more when i hit the ante stage in the tournament...

You just count the blinds with ante in it. For example if you have SB 150, BB 300 and ante 150 .. you can count it like BB 400 and and SB 200 and play it like that. :) .. my english is not so good to explain these mathematical things well, so i hope you take it :)

like Pe4Ce2 says, you include the ante amt in your calculation, so in the example he gives, blinds/antes = 600. You then just split the amt like you would if it was just the blinds, ie. 2:1 ratio, so BB = 400, hope that covers the basic maths behind it
