...but at other times, you just have to find some way to en-joy it.

Flop a set from freeplay, and get the ideal situation. Big success!!

      Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em Tournament, 25/50 Blinds (5 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

      UTG (t2910)
      MP (t4435)
      Button (t1890)
      SB (t1465)
      Hero (BB) (t2800)

      Hero's M: 37.33

Preflop: Hero is BB with 5, 5
UTG calls t50, 2 folds, SB calls t25, Hero checks

      Flop: (t150) 3, 9, 5 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG bets t300, SB raises to t1415 (All-In), Hero raises to t2750 (All-In), 1 fold

      Turn: (t3280) 6 (2 players, 2 all-in)

      River: (t3280) 2 (2 players, 2 all-in)

      Total pot: t3280

      Results:
SB had 9, 4 (flush, nine high).
Hero had 5, 5 (three of a kind, fives).
      Outcome: SB won t3280

Notice that if he hadn't hit the flush, he made the straight anyway.

A few hands later, pocket rockets! Always love to see those.
Obviously, as BU, when you've coldcalled the OR from a TAG, and see a shove and overshove, and find yourself with JTo, you instantly call.

To be fair though, he was French. And I only have 70% equity three way.

SB had 10, 10 (full house, tens over Queens).
Hero had A, A (two pair, Aces and Queens).
      Outcome: SB won t3470

Well there's always the next hand, and what's this, the rockets again!?! How can my luck be this good!!

Decide to make the old "tilt shove" move UTG with the remaining 10BB, expecting to get a call from some weaker hand. Worked a treat!!

It's cool dude. The tilt move is just one I see people making with trash after bad beats. I made it with the nuts. And provoked the weak call, which was what I was after.

In each of the examples I was huge favourite when the money went in, which is what we play for.

Outcomes are the emotional roller coaster, my advice is, don't ride.

That's what this post is really about. The play was successful.

As to French, this is just the kind of random play I see a lot from French fish. I am sure there are good French players as well. Whenever I see a French player on my table, I look at the first few moves. If they aren't good, they are like this, almost always. I've never seen a passive tight French player.
