      Shouldn't you cbet and not him?

      Disregarding that, on the river it's possible for him to jam any Ax he tried to check down, i don't know. Hard to say without reads, if you've seen him stab the turn with A-high with after you checked back the flop before than it means he's not considering A-high worth showing down in general and you're likely up against Ax a lot less often. Extracting that kind of information from his play and taking it to the next level by understand how he thinks about the game is important.
