Especially without reads, even in position you don't want to start calling 3 bets with hands you're not comfortable calling down with a top pair postflop, and how could you be when you know nothing about villain? Save yourself the headache and guesswork by just folding these offsuit broadways until you know more about him.

      As played postflop your line is fine if you think you can induce a calldown by worse hands like TT-JJ if you represent a semibluff, but again, how could you know that. I'd rather call him down to hopefully let him continue bluffing, and if he shows a better hand just hate myself for calling preflop.
