      No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

      saw flop

      Gerv (BB) ($50.50)
      UTG ($48.83)
      MP ($81.68)

      Button ($52.51)
      SB ($72.91)

Preflop: Gerv is BB with Q, K
1 fold, MP bets $1.50, Button calls $1.50, 1 fold, Gerv calls $1

      Flop: ($4.75) K, 3, Q (3 players)
Gerv bets $3.50, MP calls $3.50, 1 fold

      Turn: ($11.75) J (2 players)
Gerv bets $9, MP calls $9

      River: ($29.75) 9 (2 players)
      Gerv bets $14

I could 3bet preflop but I found that too marginally against a loose-passive guy who plays 22/11

Now I lead for value because I dislike check/calling 3 streets.

Do I vBet the River like 1/2 pot? If he jams for $36 effective , do I call given the fact that I get 80/20 = 4:1 ?

I think you can assume that player is not shoving river with set, two pair or aces.
So he should have there always Tx or busted draw.
I think players are not bluffing there enough times to make b/c profitable
And I´d 3-bet pf with KQs, makes your hand easier to play postflop with initiative
I think perfectly ok line is also c/c river. You gain information how he plays his draws/Kx, aces and so on.
