[NL2-NL10] Folding the nuts

      Hello guys,

      This hand left me in doubt about the correct decision .

      MTT $1.000,00 freeroll

      There were 60 players left, I was in the 12th place.

      ITM from 30th place.

      Blinds 200/400

      UTG+1 ($5.930,00)
      MP2 ($11.234,50)
      Hero BB ($14.565,00)

      Hero (6 :spade: ,7 :heart:)

      UG+1 calls $400, MP2 calls $400, Hero checks

      Flop (3 :club: ,5 :club: ,4 :club:)

      Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, MP2 allin $11.234,50, Hero fold, UTG+1 fold

      Because of his preflop blind call and flop overbet, it looked like he did want to finish the hand straight away, soI´ve put him on a flush with small cards . Was this reading right?

      Now, this hand could have taken me eitheir to the tournament leadership or "out into the street". Should I have risked it?

      Hi gungunhana!

      I think you played it a bit weak.
      I would bet the flop here because I don't want to see another :club: coming up. If MP2 raises you, just go all-in. You have the nutstraight and only a flush beats you. He can easily hold a flushdraw or set, so I think you are a favourite in this situation. And if you want to win the tournament you have to take your chances.

      Other thoughts?

      I should have gone allin. This is the type of hand that makes you win a tournament if you take the risk.
      I would have won actually. The guy had Ac, As.
