I didn't get much value from these very similar hands but both boards offer draws and against many opponents hence my pot size raises. Should I have done better?

      Hi scottnot!

In my opinion you played both hands well. You want to protect your hands and you want to play a big pot because you have a big hand. If everyone folds it's just bad luck.

      Good luck at the tables!

Why not slow play it and check raise the turn or even the river? The pre flop bets and the board, indicate that you have the best hand. Why not try to take a better value from them?

Because in both cases there are straight and flushdraws. You don't want to give them a freecard so that they can beat you. Just bet straightforward - especially on low limits. Usually every kind of draw pays you off here.

      Good luck at the tables!
