      Button (t5683)
      SB (t2760)
      Hero (BB) (t853)
      UTG (t1835)

      Hero's M: 3.55

Preflop: Hero is BB with x, x

3:1 good enough here to stick it in with atc?

ATC looks bad for me in this spot. Even it is 3:1, you MUST be somewhat close to BU range. Also your stacksize is not hopeless.

don't don't shove ATC here please.. it's terrible. Pot odds aren't important here.

no because there are already 2 people in the hand, which means you will bust a LOT without a really good hand.

      I need something like AQ+ JJ+ or TT+ here

but more often if i have 2 live cards v 2 opponents (no overpairs) i have enough equity to make atc profitable? yes?

well I don't even think we can call this with ATC for pure chipEV

I fed it to the lizard, with shorty push 35% BU overpush 15% hero edge = 0 I get the shoverange 8.3% 66+ AJo+ ATs+ KQs, and I think we can expect villains to be tighter then that tbh..

edit: played around with the wizard a little and the 8.3% range looks pretty good, I'd prolly still fold 77- . Calling with ATs and KQs feels really loose but it's actualy not that bad assuming BU isn't a nit.

      This! it's 3-way so it's not really 3:1.

Think about it, by your reasoning we should be calling ATC if everyone goes all in preflop first hand of the tournament ;) and we're in the BB.
