Villain is 55.8/8.7/1.4 saw him playing any ace and any two suited.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (9 handed) by Hand Converter CG

CO ($58.72)
Hero ($32.52)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 5:club: , Q:diamond: .
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO calls $0.25, Button folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: ($0.40) 4:diamond: , Q:club: , J:club: [color:#0000FF](3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, [color:#CC3333]CO bets $0.5, SB folds, Hero calls $0.50.

Should I have lead out? Was concerned about my kicker though and thought I can c/c if I get HU.

Turn: ($1.40) Q:heart: [color:#0000FF](2 players)
Hero checks, [color:#CC3333]CO bets $0.5, [color:#CC3333]Hero raises to $1.5, [color:#CC3333]CO raises to $2.5, Hero calls $1.

Best possible turn obviously, although I really think I should have lead out here. Given that, what if I bet and he raises? Are we playing back or just calling?

River: ($6.40) 8:club: [color:#0000FF](2 players)
Hero checks, [color:#CC3333]CO bets $2, Hero calls $2.

Since he has shown some strength, and even the flush and straight filling (although a bit unlikely, I don't think he'd re-raise the turn) I've put him on a better queen.

Edit: haven't figured out how to add stats in Texas Grab'em so I've used this converter. Any help is appreciated.

Hi MMa7!

I would bet the flop here to take down the pot immediately. If you get raised it's an easy fold. If you get one caller and see this turn card lead out again to take down the pot. If you get action again, just call it down because your kicker isn't that good.

Good luck at the tables!

Yeh, as figured although I really liked my trips vs him even with no kicker, since his range was quite wide. At least until he showed that he has something. Thanks though!
