NH, would have played it exactly the same way, if he has set then it's just a cooler.

Think Id raise flop with the intention of checking behind turn for pot control, then you also see how keen villain is to get it in.

I'm not sure what raising flop here serves to accomplish. We'd basically be isolating ourselves against a range which dominates us. We are behind against two overcard FDs and crushed by overpair and AT/KT. I don't like raise/fold line here and even worse is raise/call. So with TPGK I'm going for control and try to pick up a modest-sized pot.

I am sometimes raising flop, but likely with not that hand, since I think we can get more value if he barrels turn and river than raising flop and then facing hard decision if he shoves or 3-bets.
So I like flop call more than raise.
I don´t mind raising there with 54 for example, since whatever he holds he has good enough equity against our hand and by raising we also protecting out hands against overcards and if player is really nitty he can easily b/f better 5x/6x or pp-s 77,88,99
      Turn. It is easy bet/shove
You´re sometimes beat but I think he can easily play AQ or KK/AA that way or some strong flushdraws
