When reviewing the hands that i played today, it struck me that i actually played very badly. Should I take a few days off?

EDIT: Oh and i'm sorry: I did not see the new posting guidelines before posting this thread. I will limit myself to 1-2 hand per thread in the futur. :EDIT

Call that? He made a small bet compared to the size of the pot... Would it be better not to call, but to do a solid raise here?

I actually won that hand (it was a bluff indeed), nevertheless im not sure if it was correctly played.

Is it good to push in that situation? I really would have preferred to get called here, so maybe bet a little less?

      Hi c4t0r!

Hand 1) Nice hand. You have the second nuts. Go with it. On these limits you will often see AK, AQ, QQ, JJ and even worse hands going all-in.

Hand 2) I would raise the flop to see what I'm up against and fold to any further action.

Hand 3) fold preflop because you don't get the odds to call for setvalue.

Hand 4) Stick to the SHC and fold preflop. If you put him on a bluff raise on the turn or at least bet the river for value.

      Hand 5) easy all-in.

Hand 6) nice hand. You want to get value so you have to bet. Maybe ~$0.75 would have been enough here.

In general: If you think you are on tilt: please read our psychology articles. They should help you to improve your psychological skills.

      Good luck at the tables!

On a general note: Thanks a lot for helping me improve and for analyzing my hands - I really appreciate it :)

      Hand 1)
It's just because i so damn often seem to loose All-Ins recently when holding KK.... :( (one of the reasons for my bad state of mind, i guess)

      Hand 2)
Will do so next time when i face a paired board and i have top pair. Thanks for the advice :)

      Hand 3)
It's what i thought when i reviewed that hand - dunno what has driven me there...

      Hand 4)
I think you may have mixed up that hand with another hand: SHC does not state to fold AJs preflop. (I will post fewer hands in a single thread next time, to make it less confusing - my bad) EDIT: Its states to fold it indeed... which finally brings me to the conclusion that i WILL take some time off and study the books .... :EDIT

      Hand 5)
It's what i thought - i got busted by JJ pocketpair there, i was not lucky then... :( (but thats the reason i posted this hand)
