I quess the best way to earn SP is cash game. Considering that you can play like 4-5 tables on Everest at the same time, it is really hard to earn points in NL2. But when you reach NL10 the points come pretty fast.

hi, i just started on Everest too :) i deposited 10$ to be able to get 200$ deposit bonus (worth it).

i play mainly NL2 and currently i have around 400SP. i usualy play 1-2 sessions per day (each session with approx 400 hands - not long sessions). and by my calculations i will be able to accumulate 1000SP in three months just playing NL2 (if nessesary).

i'm still waiting to hit some tourney to boost my roll (like those Bankroll Builders) and move to higher limit...

btw there is no NL4/5 on Everest so it's kinda hard to get to NL10 from NL2 (especialy if u want proper conservative BRM). i'll have to think about it because i now have very safe roll for NL2 BSS but not nearly safe for NL10 BSS (don't like SSS - too boring for me). any suggestions from people who passed this?

      a) move sites
      b) break BRM

anyone pls share how do u get the 1000 SP to clear the $50 starting bonus?

      a) buy into high-rake tourneys and sit-n-gos - pay as much rake as you can (might cost $10,000 for the 50$ bonus (but you could win!))

sorry i dont mean to sound drunk but im sarcastic

      serious answer:
be patient; worrying about SP and player points makes you break BRM,.

Learn to play Omaha and sit at PL10 table. Play only really good hands and let people play way too loose and collect easy SP. :)

I would say nl10 is extremely fishy as well, so if you join 1 or 2 nl10 tables alongside with a few nl2 tables, and play stricly according to the SHC, you should be fine imo.

Well I think it's impossible to get 1000 summit points just by playing NL2. What I'm doing ATM is grinding 4 tables of NL2 to build big enough roll + playing 1 table of NL10 shortstacked for additional points. I hope I get to BSS NL10 soon. If I dont i might have to play out of BRM for a while to get to 1000 :(

The truth is that if you are a profitable player by the time you have reached the 1000 points the $50 will be irrelevant. You will have made enough not to worry about the $50. Of course $50 is nice buit it shouldnt be the focus.

Focus on good profitable poker with solid BRM.

      I have another question...

I have just secured Base Camp status for next month. However, I havent cleared my starting capital yet (have about half of 1000 points needed). Does anyone know if bonus summit points I get from being a Base Camp member (+200%) count towards getting 1000 points and clearing starting capital?

I am playing sit and go tournaments. I made 250$ in first 9 days of play, and I play 6-7 per day, 3-4 at the same time. First I played 5$ ones but now I mix 5$ and 10$. I am killing them :) . I made around 400 SP so far, in about 50 sng's

Nah, NL2 is no problem, I made over 1200 pts in 2 months playing NL2. Just play 3-4 tables and steamroll the snail eaters. Just forget about bluffing.. or should I say 'le bleuffing' cause these guys don't surrender as much as you would imagine.
