Hero had QcQd (a pair of Queens) and LOST (-$6.70)

      So my questions are:

Hand #1: Should I have folded on flop already? I was pretty sure he had flush/straight and I had 4 outs to outdraw him and get his whole stack if I hit my fullhouse but when I think now and do the maths I don't think I was given the right odds to call this so I made a mistake there. Am I right?

Hand #2: Same story, I think he catches his flush on the turn but this time I have 11 outs (2 aces, 2 tens, 13 flushouts (-1 in my hand, -2 in his hand)) so I think it was ok to call here since the odds were good in this case. Correct me if I'm wrong please.

Hand #3: I was very suspicious about his limping and reraising preflop. I've put him on AA or KK right away when I saw it but how the hell do I get out of this hand?

Hand1: I would play check/(strong)raise on flop and fold to a big reraise. I think it's possible that you still have the best hand here & this way you know better where you're at.

Hand2: After turn card, I would just play check/call. Keep in mind you can still get flush/FH with river card.

Hand3: Pretty hard to fold preflop, but I don't think you do anything wrong by doing so, you're probably at coinflip at it's best (lower pockets seems very unlike). if you can't fold preflop, I would fold flop. You can lose a lot in this kind of hands but you can also save a lot of money against obvious KK/AA. If villain is fishy, I would call it down like you did.

      Hi Zeffke!

Thanks for posting so many sample hands but please use one thread for each hand like it is described in our new posting guidelines.

Hand 1) Nice hand. You cannot fold on the flop because he can also have a flush/straight draw. Check/fold turn is the right play because normally he would check behind on the turn to get a freecard if he has a draw.

Hand 2) I would bet more on the flop ~$1.20 to protect my hand. On the turn I would play check/call. Because not many worse hands would call a bet here and we keep the pot small. I would definitely call his small riverbet here. You are getting 1:6 which means you only have to win in 1 out of 7 cases.

Hand 3) You are right. A limp/raise very often indicates AA or KK. To find out what you are up against I would raise the flop to ~$5.50 and fold to any further action.

      Good luck at the tables!
