Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

      Play hand

      $0.05/$0.1 No-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

      Known players:
      BB(Hero):
      $3.60
      UTG1:
      $12.89
      UTG2:
      $13.15
      MP1:
      $13.36
      MP2:
      $12.10
      MP3:
      $3.98
      CO:
      $5.42
      BU:
      $4.73
      SB:
      $9.74

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9, 9.
7 folds, SB raises to $0.30, Hero raises to $3.60, SB calls $3.30.

      Flop: ($7.2) 2, 5, K (2 players)

      Turn: ($7.2) 8 (2 players)

      River: ($7.2) J (2 players)

      Final Pot: $7.2.

      Results follow:

      Hero shows a pair of nines(9h 9c).
SB shows a pair of kings(Kd Qd).

SB wins with a pair of kings(Kd Qd).

Easy question - I would normally not re-raise with just 99, but I thought perhaps he was blind-stealing. What should I do in future with no stars or reads. Assume he could have weak hand and follow this course of action, or change?

If you play shortstack ($2.5 or less as stack) this is a clear resteal shove

Now you got a bigger stack so shoving is considered overplayed so I just raise to $0.9 here

      Best regards,
